First post of the year!

 A few photographs taken in the garden over the holiday period, the bird feeders have attracted the normal assortment of birds with a few new species spotted for the first time including Lesser Redpoll and Great Spotted Woodpecker.

…to get a photograph of the Little owl. It was glorious over the farm, nice and sunny with an abundance of wildlife and sounds, just as I arrived at the hide the Little Owl broke cover it  had been perched in a small bush, the bush in which I have my hide set up! I set the camera up and the camouflage netting and settled down. I sat there for a couple of hours to no avail! I did see the owl again on the way home.

On the way back I managed to get a shot of a Chiffchaff and one of a young Squirrel.
